Special offer for educators.

I've worked in education for over 30 years; an elementary aged classroom teacher in both public and private schools, a literacy & math support teacher and private tutor. I knew by the time I was 10 years old that I wanted to teach. Being a teacher was my calling.

Over the years I found it harder and harder to manage the demands and increasing expectations of the job, even though there were still lots of joyful and fulfilling moments with students.

I get how hard it can be.

I've got your back!

Does this sound like your life?

Administrators don't understand what it's like in the classroom.

There's too much work outside of actually being with the kids.

Parents are putting too much pressure on teachers these days.

COVID changed how students are showing up as learners. My family gets my 'left-overs' for energy, attention and patience.

Is alcohol your 'go to' tool to cope with the craziness?

Learning in Community

As teachers, we know that being in a community with like minded people can help growth happen.

As teachers, we know that for change to happen people have to step out of their comfort zone and take risks.

As teachers, we know that shame and blame NEVER
help.

Join me in my Shame Free Zone to take a risk to explore your relationship with alcohol by participating in the 30 Day Alcohol Experiment.

The US culture tells us that Alcohol is the solution to everything.

'Relaxing' with wine actually fuels big anxiety the next day, causing limited patience and a short-temper.

'Celebrating' the holidays causes a foggy brain and a sour stomach which actually takes away quality time with family. Using alcohol for 'Me Time' puts the focus on alcohol, instead of me, causing feelings of loneliness and sadness.

The TRUTH is: Alcohol Doesn't Help!

Frequently Asked Questions

When will we meet?

I live in the eastern time zone of the US. We can work together to find timing that works for both our schedules.

Where do we meet?

We can have coaching sessions either in person or over zoom. We can make plans together.

How long are the sessions?

My packages offer 60-minutes of coaching a week. We can do all 60-minutes at one time, or have two 30-minute sessions. You decide what works for you!

I offer 6 week and 12 week packages .We'll talk during week 5 or 11 to decide if you'd like to renew for another package.

I can offer independent 60-minute sessions if you request one at a flat rate in addition to your package sessions

What do I do during the coaching process?

Show up.

Be brave.

Be honest, with yourself and me.Complete any activities you plan for yourself in between sessions.

Be reflective and learn to be uncomfortable. Easy doesn't change you!Ask for help when you need it.

How long will it take for me to achieve my goals?

That depends on what changes you want to make, and how committed you are to working on them.

Little changes can happen with a perspective shift or gaining new information.

Big changes involve exploring and uncovering deeply held beliefs, and those can take the longest.

I like to tell myself, "It took me months, sometimes years,' to create my habits, I need to be patient as I dismantle them."

What if I have to reschedule or cancel?

I request 24 hrs notice to reschedule or cancel your confirmed appointment.

After 1 grace cancelation/reschedule under 24 hrs,I have a $75 fee for rescheduling/canceling,

Both of our time is valuable, so let's respect each other's calendars.

* Why we drink more than we want.

* How to acknowledge the fears associated with considering taking a break from alcohol.

* How to change your expectations and experience, while becoming more mindful of drinking.

* How you can shift your mindset so you give yourself the power to have just 1, or avoid drinking at all -- How to make the choice entirely yours, not alcohol’s!

* How society and conditioning will lead you to believe that changing your relationship with alcohol and giving yourself permission to have just 1, or not have any at all, is impossible to do.
